Independence statement

Tips operates as an independent gambling information publisher. Our editorial team makes all rating and ranking decisions independently of commercial considerations. Operators do not influence their scores. The editorial team has no obligation to produce positive content about any operator regardless of that operator's commercial relationship with the site.

Commercial relationships

This site earns revenue through affiliate commission arrangements with some of the bookmakers listed. When a reader clicks a link to a bookmaker and signs up, we may receive a fee. These arrangements are the primary source of revenue that funds this publication.

The following safeguards apply:

• Affiliate commission is not a factor in any numerical score or ranking position.
• Paid featured placement (where an operator pays to appear in a prominent position) is disclosed with a visible 'Sponsored' label.
• The editorial team is separate from the commercial team and does not discuss commercial terms with operators.
• Operators may submit factual corrections to their own pages but may not request score changes.

Factual accuracy standards

Every claim made in a review about a bookmaker's bonus terms, payment methods, licensing details or payout performance must be verified by the reviewer from primary sources (the bookmaker's own terms and conditions or the provincial gambling board's register). No claim is published without verification. Fact-checking of every review is completed by a second team member before publication.

Corrections policy

We correct factual errors promptly when they are identified, whether discovered by our team, notified by readers or notified by the operator affected. See our complaints and corrections page for details of how to report an error.

Responsible gambling obligation

This site does not target vulnerable persons or minors in its content. All pages that could be seen by persons experiencing gambling harm include a responsible gambling notice and the SA Responsible Gambling Foundation helpline number (0800 006 008). The site does not promote offshore casino operators or unlicensed gambling.
