A bigger bonus number is not always better. Evaluate each offer using these five metrics:
- Turnover (wagering) requirement: How many times must you bet the bonus before withdrawal? 3x is reasonable. 8x or above makes the bonus difficult to clear.
- Minimum odds: Must bets qualify at certain odds? 1.50 is achievable. 3.0 or above is restrictive for most bettors.
- Deposit threshold: How much must you deposit to qualify? A R1,000 bonus requiring a R500 deposit suits most. A R5,000 bonus requiring a R2,500 deposit suits fewer.
- Expiry period: How long do you have to use the bonus? 7 days is short. 30 days is standard.
