The Pro20 Cup, Cricket South Africa's new domestic T20 competition, has reached the Super 8s. The first match is tonight, Wednesday 28 October, when the DP World Lions host the WSB Eastern Storm at the Wanderers. The top four after the Super 8s go through to the semi-finals on Friday 13 November. The final is on Saturday 14 November.
This is the first season of the Pro20 Cup. It replaces the old T20 Challenge and T20 Knockout, and the field grew to 16 teams across two pools of eight.

The Titans were the standout side of the pool stage, with six wins from seven. Their only loss came on Sunday 25 October, when Boland beat them in a second Super Over in Paarl. The Lions lost once, to the North West Dragons, and had their game against the Warriors abandoned.
The Garden Route Badgers are the story of the round. They are one of only two Division 2 sides still in the competition, and they went through when rain ended the Dragons' game against the Northern Cape Heat in Potchefstroom. The Eastern Storm took the last Pool A place with a bonus-point win over CSA High Performance on the final day.
How the Super 8s work
Teams carry forward the points they earned against the other three qualifiers from their own pool. Each side then plays the four teams from the other pool once. That carry-forward rule rewards the sides that beat the other qualifiers in the pool stage, so the Super 8 table will not start level.
